- Santa's Shining Lights - Planning is underway for the 2024 event that will kick-off Nov. 30!

Lighting Volunteers will be needed Sun. Nov. 24 to setup the perimeter lights around the park. Work will start at 9am - join in as your schedule allows.

- Salvation Army Bell Ringing (Dec. 7) - Save the date and sign up to volunteer to ring the bell for The Salvation Army. Our day will be Sat. Dec. 7 at Theisen's.

Toothpaste Drive - Jen Burton is coordinating a toothpaste drive. The Charles City Mobile Food Pantry recently received a donation from the local Salvation Army to provide personal care kits to the December mobile food pantry. The Salvation Army monies was used to purchase shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for ~300 households. Local dentist practices are also donating toothbrushes.
Jen created a wish list on Amazon that would be delivered to her directly or purchase items and get them to Jen before Dec 3.

Tree Watering - November schedule has been added to the sheet. Two volunteers are needed for November 29 - add your name to the sheet if you can cover! Watering instructions for access to water have been updated on the Google Sheet.

We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

Fun & Frolic: Bob Steenson - Veteran's Day
Program: This week's program was presented by Jen Burton and Veteran Bryan Schmidt on the Quilts of Valor Program.
Quilts of Valor awards handmade quilts to veterans in a special honor ceremony. The quilts are intended as an expression of gratitude that offers comfort and healing. The group will award a handmade quilt free of charge to any honorably discharged Floyd County veteran or current service member who has been touched by war.
