A celebration of the life of Bill Frye will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 1-4 p.m. at the Zastrow River Room in the Charles City Public Library. Guests are welcome to stop by at any time to visit with family and friends. A few of Bill’s favorite poems will be read beginning at 2 p.m. Following the gathering, all are invited to join the family for a toast to Bill at Tellurian Brewing.
Club Excellence Award 2023-2024 - Our Club was recognized at the District Conference with the Club Excellence Award. This award recognizes clubs that set and achieve a number of goals aligned with Rotary's action plan.

Playground Bench and Table Assembly - Watch your email for details on assembling the tables and benches for the new shelter next to the new playground at Sportmans Park.
Party in the Park Popcorn - Just one volunteer is needed for the June 27 event. Grab a friend and come enjoy the night at Party in the Park.
June Board Meeting - The June board meeting will be June 23 at 11am even thought there will not be a noon meeting that day.
MEAL SIGN UP - Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Reminder to add meals for guests (other than the program). We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.
Remember we will start the Zoom meeting about 12:20pm to allow time for everyone to eat.

Program: This week's program was presented by Rotarian Alan Powell as a continuation sharing his trip with Bill Feller to Antarctica with Poseidon Expeditions. Alan presented the professional video and photos of their 10-day experience hiking, kayaking and learning about the Antarctic.
