Scrap Metal Drive Wrap-up - Join us for a wrap-up party 5:15pm, Thursday, October 30 at Tellurian Brewing
Fireside Chat - The Club is hosting a Fireside Chat member orientation and networking event 5:30 pm, Wednesday, October 29 at the home of John Ebert (517 Sunset Place). All members are welcome to join us to learn more about Rotary and network with other members. Appetizers and beverages will be provided, so please sign up below.

Reverse Career Fair - The Charles City FFA & Career and Tech Education classes are hosting a Reverse Career Fair on Friday, October 24 at the Charles City High School.

A Reverse Career Fair is when the students set up a table with a poster about themselves, their interests, career goals, and resumes, and potential future employees go from booth to booth to talk with the students. All Juniors and Seniors taking a CTE course this fall will take part in the event. We will still have our traditional career fair in December, but wanted to try something new.

The event will run from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

We need to give an accurate count to Dave's so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

New Fun & Frolic Format - We have decided to try something new for Fun and Frolic time during our weekly meetings. Fun and Frolic will now be The Rotary Minute. This time will be for the assigned Rotarian to share a fun fact about Rotary. This can be about anything you find interesting - something historical, news from Rotary International, information from the monthly Rotary Magazine, etc. Some good resources include Rotary.org, Rotary's social media pages, your monthly magazine, our club and district websites and social media, as well as other club and district websites.
