Polio Walk - Saturday, October 24 is World Polio Day. On this date, Rotary is organizing the World’s Largest Polio Walk and encouraging members to walk where they are to bring awareness to Rotary’s polio eradication efforts. To support this, our Club is encouraging our members to walk in the annual YMCA Spook Run, Saturday, October 24 at 9am. The Club will pay the registration fee for anyone who wants to participate. To sign up, please fill out the attached registration form and return it to Chuck Souder by Thursday. Email it to cesouder@gmail.com. Participants, be sure to wear your Rotary shirts, and we will get a photo.
If you want to walk where you are on Saturday morning, take a photo in your Rotary shirt. We will share in support of the Polio Walk.
- Please be sure to sign up by noon on Fridays! Be sure to add yourself and any guests (other than the program). We need an accurate count so we have enough meals for our members and guests. Not sure if you will make it? It is better to put your name on the list by noon Friday and take it off later if needed. The weekly menus are also shown on the sheet.

Program: This week’s program was by Nicki and Deb with St. Croix Hospice, with an overview of volunteer opportunities with Hospice. There are many ways for volunteers to provide support that are not direct end-of-life care. Volunteers provide services such as sending cards, making phone calls, home visits, and office support. Learn more on their website.
