Honors and Illnesses:
- Welcome back to President Bill! He enjoyed family time in Florida and was able to participate in the Indian Rocks Rotary 5k on the beach.
Announcements:
- Nominations for President-Elect - The Board is taking nominations for President-Elect for the 24-25 year who will then step into the President's role for 25-26. Nominations should be shared with President Bill or a member of the board.
- Rotary Scholarships - Senior students in the Charles City Community School District who graduate this year are eligible to apply for an Outstanding Senior Scholarship through the Charles City Rotary Club. Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded. Applications are available through the Charles City High School Guidance Counselors Office, by contacting Rotary Scholarship Committee Chair Mark Wicks or below. Completed applications must be in to either of the above by 1 p.m. on April 30 to be considered.

New Residents Open House - new residents open house Chamber office on Thursday, April 11, from 3-6pm. Info about the community, meet other new residents and signup for a community tour.
- Volunteer Recognition Event - The public is invited and encouraged to come out and help recognize some of the fantastic volunteers who make our community special. All non-profits and schools have been invited to honor their top volunteers. Find out who will be named 2024 Person of the Year in Charles City!
Free admission, with a light breakfast offered at 7:30 a.m. and the recognition program from 8-9 a.m. Friday, April 12 at the Community Center.

Chamber Bingo Night - Last chance to get in on the fun of Chamber Bingo Night until next fall is this Saturday, April 13, 6:30-9:30 pm at the Columbus Club. Cash prizes, a $300 jackpot, door prizes, cash bar and more.

Fun & Frolic: Steve Diers - Kaitlyn Clark Trivia
Program: This week's program was the FFA Ag Issues Team presenting their discussion on Senate File 2324 which would have banned the DNR from purchasing land at auction and from receiving donated land from a nonprofit that bought it at an auction. The student will present at FFA State Competition next week.
